Job Description
AdventHealth is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Part-time Records Clerk to join our administrative team for weekend shifts in New Port Richey, FL. This vital role involves maintaining accurate and accessible patient and operational records, ensuring the smooth flow of information critical to our healthcare services. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess strong attention to detail, and be committed to upholding confidentiality and data integrity. Key Responsibilities
- Organize, categorize, and file patient records, medical charts, and administrative documents accurately.
- Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain digital records systems.
- Retrieve records promptly upon request from authorized personnel, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Assist with scanning, indexing, and archiving documents to transition physical records to digital formats.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of all patient information and sensitive documents.
- Conduct regular audits of records to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Provide administrative support, including answering phones, processing mail, and managing supplies, as needed during weekend shifts.
- Collaborate with other administrative staff and departments to ensure efficient record management processes.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in data entry and records management.
