Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and physically capable Dumpster Loading Laborer to join our dynamic junk removal team in Kensington, London. This role involves the safe and efficient loading of various types of junk and debris into dumpsters and company vehicles. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load furniture, appliances, construction debris, and other general waste into dumpsters and trucks.
- Operate various tools and equipment used in junk removal, including dollies, hand trucks, and basic demolition tools.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with the proper sorting of materials for recycling and disposal.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work sites and company vehicles.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling heavy items throughout the workday.
- Represent AnyJunk professionally and courteously to all clients.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to manual labor.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical stamina and endurance.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive role, such as construction, landscaping, or warehouse operations.
- Valid UK driving license (Category B).
