Job Description
Join the dynamic team at DHL Supply Chain as a Distribution Center Associate in New Port Richey, FL. This role is crucial to ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our state-of-the-art facility. You will be responsible for a variety of warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and report discrepancies.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders for outbound shipment.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if certified).
- Stage products in designated areas for storage or shipment.
- Perform routine cycle counts and assist with inventory management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Operate various warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
- Reliable transportation to and from the distribution center.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Forklift certification or experience operating other material handling equipment.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
