Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Farm Hands to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for stable, full-time employment close to home, regardless of your postcode. As a Farm Hand, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our farms, supporting various stages of crop cultivation, maintenance, and harvesting. The role is physically demanding, primarily outdoors, and requires a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for those new to agriculture or looking for a career change.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planting, pruning, and harvesting various fruit crops (e.g., apples, pears).
- Perform general farm maintenance tasks, including weeding, irrigation setup, and fence repairs.
- Operate basic farm machinery and equipment under supervision (training provided).
- Support the preparation of fields and orchards for planting and seasonal changes.
- Help with the sorting, packing, and preparation of produce for distribution.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with the farm team to achieve daily operational goals.
