Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Policy Fact-Checker to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of content against Meta’s community standards and external fact-checking partners. This position requires an individual with exceptional analytical skills, a commitment to accuracy, and a strong ethical compass. You will play a vital part in ensuring the integrity of information across our platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review user-generated content for potential policy violations and factual inaccuracies.
  • Utilize internal tools and external resources to fact-check claims and statements.
  • Collaborate with senior fact-checkers and policy teams to resolve complex cases.
  • Document findings clearly and concisely, adhering to established guidelines.
  • Contribute to the ongoing refinement of fact-checking processes and policy interpretations.
  • Stay informed about current events, disinformation trends, and evolving platform policies.
