Job Description
Are you looking for a flexible way to earn money on your own schedule? Deliveroo is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Delivery Riders to join our network in Liverpool. As a Deliveroo rider, you will be responsible for picking up food orders from local restaurants and delivering them promptly and courteously to our customers. Key Responsibilities
- Collect food orders from various restaurant partners efficiently.
- Deliver orders to customers' specified locations in a timely and safe manner.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of all delivered orders.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service during all interactions.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Manage delivery routes effectively using navigation tools.
- Communicate effectively with customers, restaurants, and Deliveroo support.
Required Skills
- Must have your own scooter or bicycle (electric bikes/mopeds also welcome).
- Valid UK driving licence (if using a scooter/moped).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Smartphone with data to use the Deliveroo rider app.
- Ability to carry a thermal delivery bag (provided).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to navigate using GPS effectively.
- Customer-focused attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery or courier role is a plus, but not essential.
- Good knowledge of the local Liverpool area and road network.
