Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Salad Leaf Pickers to join our dedicated harvesting team in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role vital to our operations, ensuring that the freshest salad leaves are harvested efficiently and to the highest quality standards. If you enjoy working outdoors, have a strong work ethic, and are looking for weekly pay, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully harvest a variety of salad leaves by hand, ensuring minimal damage to the produce.
- Work efficiently and accurately to meet daily picking targets and quotas.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, hygiene, and quality control procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area during harvesting operations.
- Operate effectively as part of a team, communicating with supervisors and colleagues.
- Adapt to varying weather conditions, as work is primarily conducted outdoors.
- Report any issues with crops or equipment to the team leader promptly.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding outdoor environment.
