Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Cloakroom Porter to join our prestigious team at The Dome Edinburgh. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a bustling, high-energy environment and enjoys providing top-notch customer service during evening hours. As a Cloakroom Porter, you will be the first and last point of contact for many of our guests, playing a crucial role in ensuring their belongings are safely stored and retrieved, contributing to a seamless and enjoyable experience. This is an evening-focused role, ideal for individuals looking for consistent work within Edinburgh’s vibrant social scene.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet all guests with a warm and professional welcome.
- Efficiently and securely store guests' coats, bags, and other personal items in the cloakroom.
- Issue and manage cloakroom tickets, ensuring accurate retrieval of belongings.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the cloakroom area.
- Assist guests with enquiries and provide directions within the venue when needed.
- Handle cash and card payments accurately for cloakroom services.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Be proactive in anticipating guest needs and offering assistance.
