Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Chauffeur to join The Brown Hotel team. This role is crucial in providing impeccable transportation services for our distinguished guests, ensuring their comfort, safety, and punctuality. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and an in-depth knowledge of Louisville and surrounding areas. This position offers comprehensive vision and dental plans as part of our commitment to employee well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport guests to and from various destinations, including airports, business meetings, and leisure activities.
- Maintain the cleanliness and pristine condition of the hotel's luxury vehicles, performing pre- and post-trip inspections.
- Assist guests with luggage and provide courteous, professional service at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and hotel policies regarding safe driving and guest privacy.
- Plan optimal routes, considering traffic and weather conditions, to ensure timely arrivals.
- Communicate effectively with hotel staff regarding guest schedules and special requests.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide local recommendations with professionalism and discretion.
Required Skills
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional chauffeur or commercial driving experience.
- Exceptional knowledge of driving laws and vehicle safety standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a polite and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Punctual, reliable, and highly organized.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience driving luxury vehicles.
- Extensive knowledge of Louisville and the greater Kentucky region.
- Prior experience in hospitality or a customer-facing role.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Ability to speak a second language.
