Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional and discreet Celebrity Chauffeur with a specific focus on Red Carpet events and Media engagements. This role demands exceptional driving skills, a profound understanding of protocol for high-profile individuals, and an unwavering commitment to privacy and punctuality. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting celebrities and media personnel to various events, ensuring their safety, comfort, and timely arrival. This is an on-site position based in Downtown Akron, requiring flexibility and adaptability to a dynamic schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport high-profile clients, including celebrities and media professionals, to and from various locations, particularly red carpet events, interviews, and media appearances.
- Maintain the highest standards of discretion and confidentiality regarding client schedules, conversations, and personal information.
- Ensure the vehicle is impeccably clean, well-maintained, and fully fueled before each assignment.
- Plan optimal routes considering traffic patterns, road closures, and event logistics to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Assist clients with luggage, personal items, and any other reasonable requests while maintaining professionalism.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, personal assistants, and event organizers to coordinate pick-up and drop-off times.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
- Adapt to last-minute schedule changes and unexpected situations with grace and efficiency.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional chauffeur experience, specifically with high-profile clients or executive transport.
- Impeccable driving record with a valid state driver's license.
- Exceptional knowledge of local and regional road networks, including alternative routes.
- Profound understanding of etiquette and protocol when interacting with celebrities and public figures.
- Strong commitment to client confidentiality and discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, often with short notice.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Proficiency in using GPS and navigation applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Defensive driving certification.
- Advanced security training or experience with executive protection.
- Experience working directly with talent agencies or public relations firms.
