Job Description
Join Quality Carriers as a CDL-A Tanker Driver with Hazmat endorsement, earning top hourly rates. We are seeking dedicated and safety-focused drivers to transport critical bulk liquid products across various routes. You will be responsible for the safe operation of tanker trucks, adherence to all DOT regulations, and timely delivery of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Key Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial motor vehicles equipped with tanker trailers safely and efficiently.
- Transport hazardous and non-hazardous bulk liquid chemicals to various customer locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and trailers.
- Ensure compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, company policies, and customer requirements.
- Accurately complete and maintain electronic logging device (ELD) records and other required paperwork.
- Monitor cargo during transit, ensuring proper securement and temperature control when applicable.
- Participate in loading and unloading procedures, following all safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members regarding schedules, deliveries, and potential issues.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Hazmat endorsement (H)
- Tanker endorsement (N)
- Minimum of 2 years verifiable Class A driving experience
- Clean driving record (MVR)
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- X Endorsement (combination of Hazmat and Tanker)
- Previous experience hauling bulk liquids or chemicals
- TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
- Experience with various types of tanker equipment
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and navigation systems
