Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistant to join our dedicated team in Goodyear, Arizona. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the food service industry, specifically within an educational environment. The role is offered on a term-time only basis, meaning you will work during school terms and have breaks during holidays. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our catering services, contributing to a positive dining experience for students and staff. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to customers, ensuring high standards of presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and clearing tables.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, following all training and safety guidelines.
- Replenish food counters and displays as needed, ensuring food is kept at appropriate temperatures.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to queries and requests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and health and safety regulations.
- Assist with stock rotation, deliveries, and maintaining organized storage areas.
- Work collaboratively with the catering team to deliver a high-quality service.
