Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Beauty Product Data Entry Specialist with a specific focus on cosmetics. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining a high volume of product data within our systems. This is a critical position that ensures the integrity and consistency of our product information across all platforms, from e-commerce to in-store displays. You will work closely with product development, marketing, and e-commerce teams to support the launch of new products and maintain existing ones.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input and update product information, including descriptions, ingredients, pricing, SKUs, and imagery links, into internal databases and PIM systems.
- Ensure data consistency and integrity across various platforms (e-commerce, inventory, marketing).
- Conduct regular audits of existing product data to identify and correct discrepancies or errors.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and e-commerce teams to gather necessary product details and specifications.
- Assist in the preparation and upload of new product data for launches and promotions.
- Categorize products efficiently based on established guidelines and taxonomies.
- Maintain strict adherence to data entry standards and company policies.
- Provide support for special projects related to data migration or system enhancements.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in data entry, preferably within a retail, e-commerce, or beauty industry setting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with cosmetics and beauty product terminology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems.
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and content management systems.
- An interest in the beauty industry and ethical consumerism.
- Previous experience with large datasets and database management.
