Job Description
Join Meta’s dedicated team as an Online Content Moderator focusing on health-related content. In this vital role, you will be responsible for reviewing user-generated content across our platforms to ensure compliance with our community standards and health guidelines. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining a safe, respectful, and trustworthy online environment for billions of users worldwide, particularly concerning sensitive topics like health information, misinformation, and user well-being. This position requires critical thinking, a strong ethical compass, and the ability to make consistent decisions under pressure. You will play a crucial role in preventing the spread of harmful health-related content and protecting vulnerable communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and moderate user-generated content, including text, images, and videos, specifically focusing on health-related topics, against established community guidelines and health policies.
- Identify and take appropriate action on content that violates policies, such as misinformation, harmful health claims, graphic content, or incitement to self-harm, escalating complex cases as needed.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency in decision-making while adhering to strict service level agreements (SLAs).
- Contribute to ongoing training and calibration efforts to improve content moderation quality and policy understanding.
- Collaborate with policy, legal, and engineering teams to provide feedback on content trends and improve platform safety tools.
- Handle sensitive and potentially disturbing content responsibly, utilizing available support resources.
Required Skills
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Comfortable working with potentially disturbing or graphic content.
