Job Description
RBC is seeking a dedicated and reliable Banking Errand Professional to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. In this trusted local role, you will be responsible for providing essential support to our branch operations by managing various off-site banking and administrative tasks. This position is ideal for an individual with excellent organizational skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a deep familiarity with the local Mississauga area. You will be a vital link in ensuring the smooth flow of operations, helping us maintain the high standards of service our clients expect.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and punctually transport documents, cash, and other banking materials between branches, clients, and designated locations.
- Perform various off-site administrative tasks as required, including mail collection/delivery, supply procurement, and inter-departmental deliveries.
- Handle sensitive information and materials with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
- Maintain accurate records of all errands completed, including timings and recipients.
- Communicate effectively with branch staff, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient task completion.
- Adhere to all company policies, security protocols, and safety guidelines.
Required Skills
- Valid G-class driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with the Mississauga area and local navigation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a courier, delivery, or administrative support role.
- Experience working in a professional office or banking environment.
- Customer service experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided).
