Job Description
We are seeking a talented Shopify Expert to join our dynamic team in Montreal. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong understanding of the Shopify platform, eager to contribute to cutting-edge e-commerce projects. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify e-commerce stores using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Implement new features and functionalities, ensuring responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to translate UI/UX wireframes and mockups into functional Shopify themes.
- Optimize store performance for speed, SEO, and conversion rates.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of Shopify themes and applications.
- Manage app integrations and configure third-party tools to extend Shopify functionality.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing Shopify stores.
- Stay updated with the latest Shopify features, industry trends, and best practices.
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Shopify theme development (Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
- Experience with Shopify API and third-party app integrations.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written communication).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
- Experience with other e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, WooCommerce).
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
