Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our Supply Chain Insights team at FedEx. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to critical projects from a remote setting, helping us optimize our vast global logistics network. The successful candidate will be instrumental in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify trends, create actionable insights, and support data-driven decision-making within our supply chain operations. You will work closely with senior analysts and various business units to enhance efficiency and improve performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and process large datasets related to supply chain operations from various sources.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools to present key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed analytical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data analysis projects.
  • Support the implementation of data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all analyses and reports.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with statistical analysis and modeling.
  • Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
  • Understanding of supply chain concepts and logistics operations.
  • Previous internship or project experience in a data analysis role.
