Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bank Teller to join our team for the night shift at our Pasco branch. This critical role involves processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a balanced cash drawer, and providing exceptional service during non-traditional banking hours. The night shift offers a unique environment, often catering to businesses with late deposits and ensuring the security and preparedness of the branch for the next day. You will play a vital role in our customer’s financial well-being, handling deposits, withdrawals, and other banking services, all while receiving a differential pay for your commitment to working during these hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cashing checks, accurately and efficiently during night hours.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer by adhering to established procedures and policies.
- Verify and reconcile night deposits from commercial clients and ATM transactions.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information about bank products and services.
- Adhere to all bank security procedures and regulatory compliance requirements, especially during quiet night shifts.
- Prepare daily reports and ensure the branch is secure and ready for the next business day.
- Identify customer needs and cross-sell bank products and services when appropriate.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong customer relationships.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth branch operations.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in cash handling or customer service.
- Proven ability to work accurately with numbers and handle cash transactions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work consistent night shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bank Teller or in a financial services environment.
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) to better serve our diverse customer base.
- Knowledge of banking products and services.
