Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and highly professional Residential Concierge to join the team at a luxury residential development in Taunton. This pivotal role involves providing exceptional service and security, ensuring a premium living experience for all residents. You will be the first point of contact, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, assisting with inquiries, and maintaining the smooth operation of the building. This position requires commitment to 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and is rewarded with a competitive salary for your dedication.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk and lobby area, providing a warm and professional welcome to residents and visitors.
- Handle all incoming calls, emails, and resident requests promptly and efficiently.
- Assist residents with a wide range of services, including package delivery, taxi bookings, restaurant reservations, and dry cleaning.
- Monitor security systems, CCTV, and access control, ensuring the safety and security of the building and its residents.
- Conduct regular patrols and checks of the property to identify and report any maintenance or security issues.
- Coordinate with maintenance and cleaning staff to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of incidents, visitors, and deliveries.
- Enforce building rules and regulations discreetly and effectively.
- Provide local information and recommendations to residents.
- Act as a point of contact for emergency services when required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service, hospitality, or residential concierge role.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, email, building management software).
- A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Discretion and a professional demeanor.
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a luxury residential or 5-star hotel environment.
- First Aid certification.
- SIA Door Supervisor license (or willingness to obtain).
- Knowledge of local amenities and services in Taunton.
