Job Description
Are you a charismatic and skilled bartender with a passion for crafting memorable experiences? Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront is seeking a dynamic Weekend Bartender to join our team, enhancing our vibrant nightlife scene. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and speed.
- Engage guests in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner, recommending drinks and promotions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Process guest orders and payments accurately using point-of-sale systems.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as necessary to ensure responsible service.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation and exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and local alcohol beverage control laws.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Bartender, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and bar equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification from a recognized bartending school.
- Experience with a variety of spirits, wines, and craft cocktails.
- Knowledge of local Virginia Beach attractions and recommendations.
- TIPS or equivalent responsible alcohol service certification.
