Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Body Technician / Panel Beater to join our team in Georgetown, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicle bodies, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role requires expertise in various auto body repair techniques, including frame straightening, panel replacement, and dent removal. Key Responsibilities

  • Assess vehicle damage and create detailed repair plans.
  • Perform panel beating, welding, and frame straightening.
  • Replace and repair body panels, doors, and other components.
  • Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
  • Utilize appropriate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare vehicles for painting and reassembly.
  • Collaborate with painters, estimators, and other technicians.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or Panel Beater.
  • Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG) and panel replacement.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle body construction and repair techniques.
  • Ability to use frame machines, measuring systems, and various hand tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of a recognized automotive body repair apprenticeship or trade certification.
  • I-CAR or other industry-recognized certifications.
  • Experience with a variety of vehicle makes and models.
  • Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
