Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Professional Livery Operator with a meticulous focus on precision to join our elite team. As a Livery Operator at Blacklane, you will be the face of our premium service, responsible for providing safe, comfortable, and timely transportation for our esteemed clients. This role demands exceptional driving prowess, impeccable attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering a five-star experience with every journey. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of luxury service standards and an intrinsic drive for perfection in all aspects of their work, from vehicle presentation to route optimization and client interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate luxury vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Maintain immaculate vehicle presentation, ensuring cleanliness, comfort, and readiness for every client.
- Execute pre-planned routes with high precision, optimizing for efficiency and client comfort while anticipating potential delays.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including professional greetings, assistance with luggage, and discreet attentiveness to client needs.
- Manage scheduling and dispatch communication effectively to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure operational safety and adherence to brand standards.
- Maintain detailed trip logs and expense records accurately.
- Demonstrate advanced defensive driving techniques and maintain a clean driving record.
- Represent Blacklane with the utmost professionalism and integrity at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience (chauffeur, courier, or similar).
- Exceptional spatial awareness and navigation skills (GPS proficiency).
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Impeccable punctuality and time management abilities.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage (up to 50 lbs).
- Knowledge of local geography and traffic patterns in the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in luxury or executive transportation.
- Advanced defensive driving certification.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Proficiency in additional languages.
- Familiarity with luxury vehicle operation and maintenance.
