Job Description

In this vital role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe loading, unloading, sorting, and scanning of packages within our fast-paced facility. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort, scan, load, and unload packages by hand, safely and efficiently.
- Lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs, and occasionally up to 75 lbs with assistance.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Read and interpret package labels, manifests, and sorting instructions.
- Operate package handling equipment such as conveyors and scanners after proper training.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely processing of shipments.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall facility operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs frequently, and up to 75 lbs occasionally with assistance.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and climb stairs for extended periods.
- Basic literacy skills to read and interpret shipping labels and instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or physical labor role is a plus, but not required.
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with safety protocols in a warehouse setting.
