Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and diligent Job Site Gate Keeper to manage access and deliveries at one of our active construction sites in Cardiff. This is a crucial role that ensures the security and smooth operation of our site by meticulously checking in vehicles, personnel, and materials. It’s a sit-down role, primarily involving administrative gate duties, perfect for someone organised and attentive to detail. You will be the first point of contact for all site visitors and deliveries, playing a vital role in maintaining site safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all incoming and outgoing site traffic, including deliveries, personnel, and visitors.
  • Verify delivery manifests against physical goods and record all incoming materials accurately.
  • Issue and collect visitor passes, ensuring all site entry procedures are followed.
  • Maintain a clear and organised log of all site visitors and vehicle movements.
  • Operate site security barriers and gates as required.
  • Monitor site perimeter for any unusual activity and report immediately to site management.
  • Provide basic information and directions to visitors and delivery drivers.
  • Adhere strictly to all site health and safety protocols.
