Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Collect parcels from local DPD UK depots or designated collection points.
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes within the Watford and surrounding Hertfordshire areas.
- Safely and securely deliver parcels to residential and business customers.
- Handle parcels with care and ensure accurate scanning and tracking.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing DPD UK professionally.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and DPD UK safety guidelines.
- Manage your delivery schedule effectively to meet customer expectations.
Required Skills
- Valid UK driving license (Category B minimum) with no more than 6 points.
- Access to a reliable vehicle (van or large car) suitable for parcel delivery (proof of insurance and MOT required).
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Right to work in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a courier, delivery, or multi-drop driving role.
- Good geographical knowledge of Watford and the wider Hertfordshire area.
- Experience using navigation and delivery management apps.
