Job Description
Join our dynamic team as an Airport Shuttle Driver in Huntsville, Alabama. You will be responsible for safely transporting customers between the airport terminal and our car rental facility in a high-traffic environment. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to maintain a consistent schedule. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate airport shuttle vehicles in a high-traffic environment, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service, assisting passengers with luggage as needed.
- Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle interior and exterior.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere to assigned routes and schedules, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members.
- Ensure all passengers are safely boarded and seated before departure.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage up to 50 lbs.
- Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle operation and maintenance checks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a professional driving role (e.g., taxi, rideshare, delivery).
- Familiarity with the Huntsville International Airport (HSV) layout and surrounding areas.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience operating passenger vans or larger vehicles.
