Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Google Knowledge Graph Associate with a strong data focus to join our remote team. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing the quality, completeness, and accuracy of Google’s Knowledge Graph. You will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and integrating diverse data sets, performing rigorous data analysis, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our knowledge base. This is a crucial role for someone passionate about structured data, information retrieval, and making a significant impact on how users discover and interact with information globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform extensive data research and analysis to identify and correct inaccuracies, inconsistencies, and gaps within the Knowledge Graph.
- Source, evaluate, and integrate new data from a variety of internal and external sources to enrich existing entities and create new ones.
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes to maintain the integrity and reliability of Knowledge Graph data.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define data requirements, provide feedback on data models, and contribute to tool development.
- Utilize SQL and other data manipulation tools to query, extract, and transform large datasets.
- Monitor data trends and performance metrics to proactively identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Contribute to the development of documentation, best practices, and training materials for data stewardship.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data quality, or data management roles.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with knowledge graph technologies, semantic web, or ontology design.
- Familiarity with Python or R for data scripting and automation.
- Experience with large-scale data systems and cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).
- Understanding of information retrieval concepts and entity resolution.
