Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and client-focused Life Strategy Partner to join our Honolulu team. This is a direct hire opportunity, offering you the chance to build a fulfilling career directly with Northwestern Mutual, not through a staffing agency. As a Life Strategy Partner, you will work with clients to understand their financial aspirations and challenges, designing and implementing tailored financial plans that encompass wealth accumulation, risk management, and estate planning. You will be instrumental in guiding clients through various life stages, providing expert advice and solutions to help them secure their financial future and achieve their life goals. This role requires a blend of financial acumen, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a genuine desire to help others.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through ongoing communication and exceptional service.
- Conduct comprehensive financial needs analyses to identify client objectives and concerns.
- Design and present personalized financial plans covering insurance, investments, retirement, and estate planning.
- Educate clients on various financial products and strategies, explaining complex concepts clearly.
- Monitor client portfolios and adjust strategies as life circumstances or market conditions change.
- Actively prospect for new clients and expand your professional network within the Honolulu community.
- Stay informed on current financial market trends, regulations, and product developments.
- Collaborate with internal specialists to deliver holistic financial solutions.
- Adhere to all compliance and ethical standards set by Northwestern Mutual and regulatory bodies.
Required Skills
- Proven track record in sales, client service, or financial advisory.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Highly organized with exceptional time management skills.
- Proficiency in financial planning software and CRM systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- FINRA Series 6 and 63 (or 7 and 66) licenses.
- Life, Accident, and Health insurance licenses.
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or willingness to obtain.
- Existing network within the Honolulu business or residential community.
- Fluency in multiple languages relevant to the local population.
