Job Description
Are you passionate about human potential and helping individuals achieve their absolute best? BetterUp is seeking an exceptional Virtual Zone Coach to guide our members into their peak states of performance and well-being. In this entirely remote role, you will leverage cutting-edge methodologies and personalized coaching techniques to help professionals, leaders, and teams reach new levels of focus, resilience, and effectiveness. You will work one-on-one with members, providing actionable strategies and support to cultivate optimal mental, emotional, and physical states that drive success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct personalized virtual coaching sessions to help members identify and achieve peak performance states.
- Develop and implement individualized action plans focused on mental clarity, emotional regulation, energy management, and goal attainment.
- Utilize proprietary BetterUp tools and frameworks to track member progress and provide data-driven insights.
- Educate members on the science behind peak performance, including neuroscience, psychology, and mindfulness practices.
- Provide constructive feedback and accountability to ensure consistent member development and goal achievement.
- Collaborate with BetterUp's internal teams to refine coaching protocols and contribute to content development related to peak states.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of coaching interactions and member progress within the BetterUp platform.
- Stay current with the latest research and best practices in coaching, performance psychology, and well-being.
Required Skills
- Certified Professional Coach (e.g., ICF, BCC or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in executive, performance, or life coaching.
- Proven ability to guide individuals in achieving peak mental and physical states.
- Exceptional communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of human psychology, motivation, and behavior change.
- Proficiency in virtual coaching platforms and digital communication tools.
- Ability to build rapport and trust quickly with a diverse range of clients.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Organizational Development, Kinesiology, or related field.
- Experience with specific methodologies for peak performance, such as flow state induction, HRV biofeedback, or advanced mindfulness techniques.
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced, tech-enabled coaching environment.
- Published articles or presentations on performance, well-being, or coaching topics.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
