Job Description

Pret A Manger is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Salad Prep Assistants to join our Liverpool team for day shifts. In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing our delicious, high-quality salads and other fresh items, ensuring our customers always receive the best. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of salads, sandwiches, and other fresh food items according to Pret A Manger’s recipes and quality standards.
  • Wash, chop, and store ingredients efficiently and hygienically.
  • Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, tidy, and organised at all times.
  • Monitor ingredient freshness and stock levels, communicating needs to team leaders.
  • Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations, including HACCP guidelines.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Contribute to a positive and energetic working atmosphere.

  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a food preparation or kitchen role.
  • Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 1 or 2).
