Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and empathetic Remote Optimism Lead to join our innovative team. This 100% remote role is crucial for fostering a culture of resilience, well-being, and growth within our client organizations and internal teams, leveraging the principles of positive psychology. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cultivating optimism and developing actionable strategies that enhance mental fitness, engagement, and overall human flourishing in a distributed work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based optimism and positive psychology strategies tailored for remote workforces.
- Lead the design and delivery of virtual workshops, coaching programs, and resources focused on resilience, gratitude, mindfulness, and optimistic thinking.
- Provide one-on-one and group coaching sessions to individuals and teams, guiding them in applying positive psychology principles to overcome challenges and achieve personal and professional goals.
- Collaborate with product and content teams to integrate optimism-enhancing features and materials into our platform and offerings.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of optimism initiatives through data collection and analysis, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Act as a subject matter expert in positive psychology, staying abreast of research and best practices to inform our strategies and thought leadership.
- Foster a positive and supportive community among remote employees, promoting connection and shared growth.
- Partner with HR and leadership teams to embed positive psychology principles into organizational culture and talent development programs.
Required Skills
- Deep expertise and practical experience in positive psychology principles and applications.
- Demonstrated leadership ability in designing, implementing, and managing well-being or development programs.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring and motivating diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in facilitating virtual workshops and delivering engaging presentations.
- Strong analytical skills to assess program effectiveness and drive data-informed decisions.
- Empathy, emotional intelligence, and a genuine passion for helping others thrive.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote setting.
- Familiarity with various digital collaboration tools and platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Positive Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Professional coaching certification (e.g., ICF, BCC).
- Experience working within a fast-paced, high-growth technology company.
- Proven track record of developing and scaling well-being or coaching programs for large organizations.
- Published research or thought leadership in positive psychology or related fields.
