Job Description

Are you passionate about travel and eager to help customers plan their journeys from the comfort of your own home? British Airways is looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our remote team as Airline Ticketing Agents. In this crucial role, you will be the first point of contact for passengers, assisting them with flight bookings, modifications, cancellations, and general inquiries. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with new flight bookings, changes, and cancellations via phone, email, and chat.
  • Provide accurate information regarding flight schedules, fares, and travel policies.
  • Process ticket issuance, reissues, and refunds efficiently.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and issues with professionalism and empathy.
  • Adhere to all airline policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Utilize Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and other internal booking platforms effectively.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction in every interaction.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and basic office software.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center or travel industry.
