Job Description
Are you a high-energy 15-year-old looking for your first exciting job? Dave & Buster’s in Downtown Burbank is seeking an enthusiastic and responsible Teens Playground Host to join our dynamic team! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to learn the ropes of the entertainment industry, gain valuable work experience, and contribute to a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring our younger guests and their families have a safe, enjoyable, and unforgettable experience in our arcade and entertainment areas. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor upon their arrival at the arcade/play areas.
- Monitor designated playground and game areas to ensure guest safety and adherence to rules.
- Provide assistance and answer questions regarding games, attractions, and facility guidelines.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the entertainment zones, including tidying up game areas.
- Engage with younger guests and teenagers to create a positive and interactive experience.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or guest concerns to a supervisor promptly.
- Assist with special events or birthday parties as needed, ensuring smooth operations.
- Uphold Dave & Buster's standards of guest service and operational excellence at all times.
Required Skills
- Must be 15 years of age or older (proof of age required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and energetic environment
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or working with children (e.g., babysitting, volunteer work) is a plus but not required.
