Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailer equipment on established routes.
- Transport freight between FedEx Freight facilities.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and cargo.
- Adhere to all federal, provincial, and company safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and records in compliance with DOT/MTO regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management.
- Handle freight and secure loads as necessary.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- Minimum 2 years (24 months) of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a DOT/MTO physical and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull freight as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with LTL freight operations.
- Hazardous Materials (HazMat) endorsement.
- Tanker endorsement.
- Double/Triple trailer endorsement.
