Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Data Analyst with a strong focus on Business Intelligence to join our dynamic global team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights, supporting key business decisions, and optimizing operational performance across various projects and client accounts. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility while maintaining high standards of collaboration and productivity. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards, performing in-depth analysis of complex datasets, and effectively presenting findings to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust dashboards and reports using Business Intelligence (BI) tools to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and insights.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of large, complex datasets to identify patterns, opportunities, and areas for operational improvement.
- Collaborate closely with various departments, including operations, sales, and client services, to understand data requirements and translate business questions into analytical solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation processes.
- Present analytical findings, data visualizations, and strategic recommendations clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support the design and implementation of data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
- Work independently in a remote setting, effectively managing time and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and project goals.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SQL for complex data querying, manipulation, and database management.
- Strong hands-on experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for dashboard and report development.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with large, multi-source datasets and extract meaningful insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas) for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, for conveying technical information and data insights to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a closely related quantitative field.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or R for advanced data analysis and automation.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse) and data warehousing concepts.
- Previous experience in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) or customer service industry.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data governance best practices.
