Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily operational activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and procedures.
- Monitor and track shipments, providing updates and resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Assist with inventory management and warehouse operations, including receiving, sorting, and dispatching.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments, customers, and external vendors to facilitate smooth operations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate operational reports, documentation, and records.
- Identify and escalate operational issues or opportunities for improvement to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and service quality.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Previous experience in a logistics, warehouse, or operations role (internships included)
- Familiarity with supply chain processes and transportation management systems (TMS)
