Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Breakfast Server to join our vibrant team at Hotel du Vin Bristol. This role is perfect for an early riser who enjoys providing excellent service and values having their afternoons free. As a Breakfast Server, you will be crucial in starting our guests’ day with a delightful dining experience, ensuring our breakfast service runs smoothly and efficiently from set-up to close. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and seat them promptly.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about food and beverages.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Serve breakfast dishes and beverages efficiently and professionally.
- Ensure tables are set correctly, clean, and well-maintained throughout service.
- Clear tables and prepare them for subsequent guests.
- Assist with the set-up and breakdown of the breakfast buffet.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and courteously.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and other front-of-house staff.
