Job Description
As an Apartment Mystery Leaser, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the leasing process and resident experience at various Greystar properties. This entry-level position requires no prior real estate license and is perfect for individuals with keen observational skills and a passion for customer service. You will act as a prospective renter, visiting apartment communities, interacting with leasing staff, and assessing the overall quality of service, property presentation, and adherence to company standards. Your detailed feedback will be instrumental in identifying areas for improvement and ensuring our leasing teams consistently deliver outstanding experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit assigned apartment communities as a prospective renter.
- Engage with leasing consultants, inquiring about floor plans, amenities, pricing, and availability.
- Objectively evaluate the leasing process, including staff professionalism, product knowledge, sales techniques, and follow-up procedures.
- Assess the cleanliness, presentation, and overall appeal of model units and common areas.
- Provide detailed, objective, and constructive feedback through structured reports.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding the mystery shopping assignments and findings.
- Adhere to all guidelines and instructions for each mystery shop scenario.
- Collaborate with the training and operations teams to share insights and best practices.
Required Skills

- Ability to act naturally and inconspicuously during visits.
- Proficiency in using reporting tools and basic computer applications.
