Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Remote Thinking Partner with an Executive Logic focus to join our strategic advisory team. In this critical role, you will work directly with senior executives across various Google product areas, providing an external yet deeply integrated perspective to complex challenges. Your primary responsibility will be to act as a sounding board, a critical questioner, and a structured thinking guide, helping leaders refine their strategies, solve intricate problems, and make high-stakes decisions. This is not a project management role; rather, it requires a unique blend of intellectual curiosity, logical rigor, and a profound ability to understand and dissect executive-level thought processes. You will be instrumental in clarifying ambiguous situations, identifying underlying assumptions, and challenging conventional wisdom to unlock novel solutions and drive clarity in decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with senior executives as a trusted advisor and thought partner on strategic initiatives, complex problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Apply structured thinking and advanced logical frameworks to dissect executive challenges and develop robust solutions.
  • Facilitate high-level strategic discussions, ensuring clarity, rigor, and comprehensive consideration of all relevant factors.
  • Challenge executive assumptions and perspectives constructively, encouraging deeper analysis and exploration of alternative viewpoints.
  • Synthesize complex information and articulate clear, concise insights that support executive understanding and action.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic frameworks and methodologies utilized across executive teams.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion in all executive interactions and access to sensitive information.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional critical thinking and analytical capabilities, with a proven ability to deconstruct complex issues.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and advising senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, business logic, and organizational dynamics.
  • High level of intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to understanding new domains and challenges.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and manage multiple high-priority engagements simultaneously.
  • Strong ethical compass and commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, high-stakes corporate environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Business Administration, Economics, Strategy, Philosophy, or a related quantitative field.
  • Prior experience in top-tier management consulting, corporate strategy, or a similar executive advisory role.
  • Deep understanding of the technology industry and current market trends.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration within a large, global organization.
  • Published thought leadership or significant contributions to strategic frameworks.

Perks & Benefits

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family.
  • Generous paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and company holidays.
  • Competitive compensation package with performance-based bonuses and equity options.
  • Opportunities for continuous learning and professional development through internal programs and external resources.
  • Remote work setup allowance and support to ensure a productive home office environment.
  • Employee assistance programs and wellness initiatives.
  • Access to Google's extensive network of internal experts and global resources.
