Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Swift Programmer to join our mobile application development team. In this role, you will focus on building and maintaining robust iOS applications, with a particular emphasis on the entire App Store ecosystem, including app submission, updates, metadata management, and performance monitoring. This is an excellent opportunity for a budding developer to gain hands-on experience with real-world applications and grow within a supportive, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy features for existing and new iOS applications using Swift.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of apps to the Apple App Store, ensuring compliance with all guidelines.
  • Manage app metadata, screenshots, and promotional materials for App Store listings.
  • Monitor app performance, crash reports, and user feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high code quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Swift, iOS, and App Store trends and technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring a smooth user experience.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Swift programming language.
  • Basic understanding of iOS SDK and Xcode development environment.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A portfolio or examples of personal iOS projects (even small ones) are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience with SwiftUI and/or UIKit frameworks.
  • Understanding of the Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
  • Knowledge of the App Store Connect platform and release processes.
  • Experience with unit testing and UI testing for iOS applications.
