Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Link Integrity Tester to join our team for an immediate start. This is a remote contract position focused on ensuring the quality and functionality of web links across various Google properties. You will perform simple, repetitive tasks to identify broken links, incorrect redirects, and other link-related issues, playing a crucial role in maintaining a seamless user experience. This role is ideal for individuals looking for flexible work with a major tech company, requiring no prior experience but a keen eye for detail and strong internet navigation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Navigate designated web pages and applications to systematically test the functionality of embedded links.
- Verify that all links lead to the correct destination and load without errors.
- Identify and accurately record any broken links, incorrect redirects, or other link integrity issues.
- Follow precise guidelines and protocols for testing and reporting findings.
- Submit clear and concise reports on identified issues using internal tools.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency in all assigned tasks.
Required Skills
- High attention to detail and ability to identify subtle discrepancies.
- Proficiency in navigating the internet and using web browsers.
