Key Responsibilities
- Generate and pitch compelling article ideas on a weekly basis that align with Vox Media's editorial voice and audience interests.
- Conduct thorough research and fact-checking to ensure accuracy and credibility of all content.
- Write high-quality, original articles ranging from 800-1500 words (or as specified by assignment) with clear, concise, and engaging prose.
- Meet weekly deadlines for article submission and incorporate feedback from editors promptly.
- Collaborate with editorial staff to refine content, improve readability, and optimize for online engagement.
- Stay informed about current events, trends, and relevant topics within assigned beats.
- Maintain a consistent output of publishable articles as per agreed-upon schedule.
Required Skills
