Job Description
Join our dedicated team as a Part-Time Retail Pharmacy Aide, specifically for afternoon shifts, at our local Walgreens pharmacy in Garland, TX. You will provide essential support to our pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy and a positive experience for our customers. Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacy staff with non-pharmacist duties, including stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and orderly pharmacy environment.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service at the front counter, assisting with prescription drop-offs and pick-ups, and directing customers to appropriate staff.
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, handling cash, credit, and debit card payments.
- Answer incoming phone calls, redirecting calls to pharmacists or technicians as needed, and taking messages accurately.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing prescription paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including those related to patient privacy (HIPAA) and safety.
- Collaborate effectively with the pharmacy team to maintain workflow efficiency during busy periods.
Required Skills
