Job Description
Are you looking for active outdoor work this summer? Haygrove Ltd. is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Soft Fruit Harvesters to join our team for the summer season in Bath, Somerset. This is a fantastic opportunity for students or anyone looking for temporary, flexible work during the warmer months. You will be responsible for carefully picking and packing a variety of soft fruits, ensuring quality and efficiency. No prior experience is necessary – we provide full training!
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully pick a variety of soft fruits (e.g., strawberries, raspberries, blueberries) according to quality standards.
- Pack fruit into designated punnets and trays, ensuring accurate weight and presentation.
- Work efficiently to meet daily picking targets.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and food hygiene standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in the fields.
- Report any issues with fruit quality or plant health to team leaders.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
