Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Salon Stock Controller to manage inventory at our bustling Plymouth salon. This part-time role is crucial for ensuring that our stylists and beauticians always have the products they need to deliver outstanding service. You will be responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels, processing deliveries, conducting regular inventory checks, and supporting the overall operational efficiency of the salon. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unpack, and verify incoming product deliveries against purchase orders.
  • Organize and maintain orderly stockrooms, ensuring products are easily accessible and stored correctly.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records.
  • Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking and stockouts, placing replenishment orders as needed.
  • Manage product returns, damages, and expired items in accordance with company policy.
  • Assist with product rotation to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
  • Maintain a clean and safe stockroom environment.
  • Collaborate with salon management and staff to understand their product needs and ensure timely availability.
  • Generate basic stock reports and assist with data entry related to inventory.
