Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional and discreet Roadshow Chauffeur to provide exceptional transportation services to our senior executives during critical roadshows, client meetings, and other business engagements. This role requires an individual with an impeccable driving record, strong knowledge of the Madison area and surrounding regions, and a commitment to providing a safe, comfortable, and efficient travel experience. The successful candidate will represent the company’s commitment to excellence and discretion at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport senior executives to and from scheduled appointments, meetings, airports, and events, often involving long hours and varied schedules.
- Maintain the assigned executive vehicle in pristine condition, ensuring cleanliness, optimal mechanical function, and readiness for immediate use.
- Plan efficient routes, considering traffic patterns, weather conditions, and potential delays to ensure punctuality.
- Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion regarding executive itineraries and discussions.
- Assist executives with luggage and personal items as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Maintain accurate logbooks of travel times, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
- Be available for unscheduled and urgent travel requests, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of professional chauffeur experience, ideally with high-level executives.
- Impeccable driving record with no accidents or moving violations.
- Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle class.
- Extensive knowledge of Madison, WI, and surrounding areas, including traffic patterns and alternative routes.
- Exceptional punctuality and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and occasional weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a chauffeur for a corporate or financial institution.
- Completion of advanced defensive driving or executive protection driving courses.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
