Job Description

Are you passionate about technology and solving complex problems? Cognizant is seeking a motivated WFH Microsoft Troubleshooting Expert to join our technical career path program. You will be responsible for providing expert remote technical support for a wide range of Microsoft products and services, ensuring our clients receive exceptional service and timely resolutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced remote technical support for Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10/11), productivity suites (Office 365, SharePoint, Teams), and other related services.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hardware and software issues efficiently via phone, email, and chat.
  • Document all troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and customer interactions accurately in our ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams and external vendors to escalate and resolve critical issues.
  • Contribute to the knowledge base by creating and updating technical articles, FAQs, and best practices.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs to maintain and enhance Microsoft expertise and certifications.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and empathetic communication.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) architecture and functionality.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing technical landscapes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, MS-900, AZ-900).
  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk).
  • Prior experience in a remote technical support or help desk role.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
