Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Quick Service Runner to join our fast-paced logistics team in Canary Wharf, London. In this critical on-site role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the swift and accurate movement of packages and materials within our facility. This position is perfect for an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, possesses excellent physical stamina, and is dedicated to maintaining high standards of efficiency and safety. You will play a vital role in supporting our express delivery operations, contributing directly to our promise of speed and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort, scan, and move packages and materials within the logistics facility.
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring items are handled with care and secured properly.
- Assist with the preparation of shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests and other documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.
- Operate basic material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) as required, with training provided.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support overall logistics operations.
