Job Description
Join Deliveroo as a Rapid Grocery Delivery Runner and become an essential part of connecting customers with their favorite groceries quickly and efficiently. This is a gig economy role offering ultimate flexibility, allowing you to choose your own hours and work when it suits you. You’ll use your own vehicle (bicycle, scooter, or car) to pick up grocery orders from local partners and deliver them directly to customers’ doors.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect grocery orders promptly from partner stores.
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of orders to customer locations.
- Maintain high standards of customer service during deliveries.
- Manage delivery times efficiently to meet service expectations.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Utilize the Deliveroo rider app for order management and navigation.
Required Skills
- Ability to use a smartphone with data plan.
- Reliable bicycle, scooter, or car (with appropriate insurance and licenses).
- Good navigation skills and familiarity with the local Leicester area.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- A positive attitude and customer-focused approach.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in delivery or courier services.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of efficient delivery routes within Leicester.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
