Job Description
As a Remote Concentrix Security Admin, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our user data and systems from evolving cyber threats. This 100% remote position requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of security principles and a commitment to maintaining robust security protocols. You will be responsible for administering security tools, monitoring for vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with our data protection policies. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining trust and operational integrity for Concentrix globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain security systems, tools, and software (e.g., SIEM, EDR, IAM solutions).
- Monitor security alerts, logs, and events, responding to and escalating incidents as required.
- Perform regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing support.
- Implement and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices.
- Manage user access, permissions, and authentication protocols.
- Participate in incident response activities, including investigation and resolution.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into new and existing systems.
- Provide support and guidance to users on security-related matters.
- Maintain documentation of security configurations, processes, and procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
- Proficiency in identity and access management (IAM) solutions.
- Knowledge of network security protocols and technologies (firewalls, VPNs).
- Familiarity with operating system security (Windows, Linux).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CCNA Security).
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
- Scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Experience in a large-scale enterprise environment.
